ABOUT ME

I am a professional hair and make-up artist based in Sutton Coldfield for all occasions specialising in bridal. Over ten years ago I chose to take my basic make-up qualifications and learn how to turn my skills into bridal quality makeup. I took extra courses in bridal styles, and learnt from some high end makeup artists. After a year I chose to learn bridal hair styling so that I could pair it togehter and I can create any look you wish for. I have since then taken courses to increase my range to full glam,  studio, and photographic, although soft glam is my favourite.

I love helping you to look your best, whatever your style, and my experience with my customers has taught me more than any course

Weddings

I am proud to be a part of your wedding day and I work hard with you to help the morning go smoothly, I will plan with you the best times for your services and use my experience with weddings to guide you with how the wedding morning will plan out.

I work with you at your trial to find the look you want, and will work hard on the day to ensure it ask goes to plan, including bringing an extra stylist for large parties, and I have often helped bride's do up their dresses!

Mainly covering the Midlands, I also travel at extra cost for group bookings.

Products

Over the last ten years I have tried and tested so many different products. The best thing I have discovered is my airbrush foundation. I use a Dinair foundation compression spray to give a fully airbrushed finish. Combined with my Nars foundation and extreme setting spray, it creates a beautiful, radiant, ultrafine finish that is guaranteed to last all day.

 

I use all top quality products, with a full colour range to match all skin types and tones. The other products in my kit consist of Mac, Charlotte Tilbury, Make Up Forever, Illamasqua, Dior, Huda Beauty, Anastasia Beverley Hills, Kryolan and others.

For hair I like to prep in the same way I would a face for makeup. Hair washed 24 hours before is ideal for styling, and I layer the heat protection and gel spray so that any style holds, without looking thick with product.

Louise did the hair and makeup for myself, my mum and my bridesmaids at my wedding. From the initial contact to the trial and the actual wedding day she was nothing short of amazing, answering questions and facilitating requests. We all looked beautiful and she was lovely to spend the morning with, helping me to stay calm and relax before the ceremony. Would recommend her again and again!
